About
Liz Langley is a California-based artist and designer with a passion for color, pattern, and interior decoration. She makes art to make you feel good, and believes your home should make you happy, too. That interiors should keep us nurtured, inspired, and reflect who we truly are. To Liz, paintings are windows to a world of energy and emotion, and our surroundings should wrap us in joy. That's what she works toward in every painting she creates.
Liz loves a maximinimalist approach to decorating, with pattern mixes layered on top of fields of color, and a style that complements the location, its light, and the personality of the space and its inhabitants. She creates her paintings & patterns with this design philosophy in mind, always aiming to take a fresh and playful approach to her work.
She sees color as its own language, and pattern as the music of design. She takes inspiration from the infinite possibilities of color, forms and patterns in nature, the history of art, textiles, ceramics and design, world cultures and travel.
She makes art for fun, adventurous people who appreciate beauty and do good in the world.
To that end, we donate a portion of our proceeds from each collection towards important causes.
In 2020, we donated to Wildcoast, a local nonprofit who are aiming to plant one million mangroves to help protect coasts, wildlife, and fight climate change, and took part in the Still We Rise Auction No. 9, where 100% of the auction bid went to the bidder's choice of nonprofits working for racial justice.
We look forward to contributing more in the future, with your help!
